Historical Promotions are able to act as historical wedding consultants in the correct design, planning and management of your historical theme. We can research, advise, plan and design a theme to suit you and your requirements.

We can undertake a wide variety of themes to make your wedding a memorable occasion with arena displays, static and walkabout entertainment, meet and greet, music, dance, theatre, children’s activities and workshops from Ancient Greece and Rome to post-World War II.

Our period entertainments will make your wedding unique and provide an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.

Booking of entertainment is always subject to availability and like any wedding requirement, it is strongly advised that you plan and book for your wedding well in advance, especially during the height of the wedding season to avoid any disappointment on your special day. However, it is always worth approaching us at short notice as we can often help in a crisis.

Historical Venues and Sourcing Service

Historical Promotions and Event Management works with a wide range of historical properties, castles and stately homes organising cultural heritage events for our clients. We also work with historic properties through our sister company Heritage Film Services organising filming locations for the film and television industry. Compiled together, means that we probably have one of the most extensive ranges of historic venues available on our database to potentially be used as your wedding venue.

Bookings are subject to availability and advisable to be booked well in advance especially during the spring and summer months, so please contact us early to book your preferred location.

We provide a historical location sourcing service should you wish us to find a suitable licensed location that is a little bit different from the normal reception venue. We can also provide a large selection of props and set dressing to transform venue locations or add some extra colour to your wedding, as required.

Historical Wedding Dresses, Wardrobe and Clothing

Historical Promotions works with professional historical costume designers to create beautiful bespoke wedding gowns and refined gentlemen’s clothing from the Renaissance to post-war periods. We can also arrange for guests to be fitted in appropriate period attire, which can be hired from our costumier sources.

Wedding and Honeymoon Vehicles

We can supply an extensive range of historical vehicles for weddings, receptions and honeymoons for the bride and groom or for the entire wedding party.

Historical Favours and Gifts

Historical Promotions can also provide you with a variety of ideas and source appropriate historical favours, gifts and novelties for your guests. We can also make bespoke historical favours to your designs and provide guests with ‘one off’ mementos of your special day.

We can advise on and if you wish organise historically themed stationery, fonts, wording and designs, marquee and tent hire, banqueting and period food, floral designs and authentic species identification, plus a whole lot more!

Non-historical Entertainment

We can arrange professional firework displays for you in the evening of your wedding. We can also provide an extensive range of non-historical corporate hospitality activities and entertainment for you and your guest to enjoy on your wedding day or day before.
